Lacoste x Novak Djokovic polo shirt
"With this Novak polo shirt, we've reached the highest level of innovation. Working for a living legend of the sport like him means meeting his expectations and striving for perfection - the perfect material, the perfect fit and the perfect feel - so that he can concentrate solely on his game. Novak wants to play in the lightest possible clothing, with absolutely zero hindrance. So we designed the lightest polo shirt he's ever worn: a unique model, almost entirely heat-sealed, i.e. with no seams on the sides, sleeves, collar or placket. It took two years of research to find the ideal fabric and heat-sealing, including countless wash and wearability tests. But in the Lacoste x Novak Djokovic collection, innovation doesn't stop with the polo shirt. Each piece is designed to optimize performance, with subtle adjustments and carefully selected fabrics. This desire for lightness, to feel little-to-nothing on his skin, is a very personal sensation for this player; it's the epitome of freedom of movement."

“For Novak, technicality must be invisible. Comfort is everything, freedom of movement is a must.”

Lacoste x Daniil Medvedev
"Daniil Medvedev loves novelty within the limits of his playing comfort. We can work on point, round, colour-block graphics ... he's a player who's very open to creativity, with a flexibility that's reflected in his playing style. What counts above all is that the garment is comfortable and adapted to his physique. These days, we prefer denser fabrics, capable of accompanying his movements while enhancing his stature."

Pieces tested and approved by Lacoste players
"Our products are first tested on court by the Lacoste team, including the most successful male and female players. The aim is to guarantee comfort, performance and elegance. In addition to these tests, we meet with them about once a year to discuss their wishes and expectations. This flexibility enables us to adapt certain pieces to their preferences, such as adding specific silhouettes. Certain technologies, such as Ultra Dry, are now essential. And last but not least, we're constantly innovating to stay at the cutting edge and meet market expectations."

The seamless tennis dress
"We have strengthened our expertise in technical knitwear - a strategic focus for Pelagia Kolotouros, Lacoste's Creative Director - with the introduction, for spring-summer 2025, of the tennis dress designed with 3D knitting technology entirely designed for performance. This innovation marks the beginning of an evolution that we will continue, season after season."
