When crocodile and Japanese culture become one
A local favourite for Tokyo sneakerheads when it comes to shopping locations, Ura-Harajuku is home to a new store that's already causing a stir: Lacoste Harajuku. Discover the concept store that Japan's trendiest sneakerheads are raving about.
Lacoste Harajuku, when Paris meets Tokyo
Lacoste and the Japanese capital have a long history. Tokyo counts many fans of the brand - including the Vintage Fashion Collectors community - with the crocodile giving back more than its fair share to the community: Japan, with its culture of aesthetics and style, is a perpetual source of inspiration for the French label and an opportunity to create ever more synergies.
Opened in December 2023, Lacoste Harajuku offers 665m2 of concept in perfect harmony with Japanese aesthetics. Exclusive products, a non-genre approach, a range of elevated silhouettes with a selection of pieces perfectly adapted to Japanese trends... this boutique is a 'concept' that bridges the gap between French craftsmanship, Japanese fashion and creativity.
Lacoste Harajuku, a one of a kind offer
The vast selection of sneakers was carefully chosen to satisfy the most demanding of tokyo enthusiasts. The exclusive "Harajuku" collection includes the iconic polo shirt, as well as T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and socks featuring crocodiles adorned with cherry blossoms or embroidered with a map of the neighbourhood. Lastly, a unique selection of vintage products completes the offer.
The "My Lacoste Artist programme" gives carte-blanche to the creativity of "MHAK" Masahiro Akutagawa, a local artist whose limited-edition collection is currently on display. In terms of personalisation, unique "Tokyo"-embroidered crocodiles created for the concept store are available.
Exclusive and particularly creative, the Lacoste Harajuku range includes iconic Lacoste pieces that embody the brand's history and expertise, cutting-edge seasonal selections designed for the Japanese, as well as collaborations with other brands.
Lacoste Harajuku, where anything is possible
Naturally, the first ever ""Café Lacoste"" opened its doors at Lacoste Harajuku. It is in the Japanese concept store, a place of great architectural creativity and a treasure trove of local decor created by Tokyo artists, that customers will be able to savour drinks in the colours of the crocodile for the first time.
Lacoste Harajuku is more than a concept store: it is the symbol of the link that harmoniously unites all crocodiles, and is a unique display that pays tribute to all cultures and talents.
