A relationship between the brands began in 2021, when BANDIER Founder, Jennifer Bandier, traveled to Paris and attended the Roland Garros tennis tournament. At the tournament, she met the creative teams at Lacoste and struck up a conversation about René’s wife – Simone de la Chaume, a former French golf champion.

Like René, Chaume drove inspiration in fashion sport for the Lacoste brand over the years – specifically across the women’s active category. This conversation planted the seed for BANDIER and Lacoste to join forces to further Chaume’s legacy- merging Bandier’s modern activewear with Lacoste’s rich heritage.

Celebrating fitness, fashion, and friendship, Lacoste and BANDIER have teamed up for their first-ever, collaborative Lacoste x BANDIER women’s collection.

Drawing inspiration from not only Lacoste’s rich heritage of French elegance, but also BANDIER’s visionary designs for the modern American woman, the collection honors and elevates the best of both brands and offers the beauty of Paris through the eyes of a New Yorker.
