TU SAIS QUI

Behind the mysterious - and not so serious  - nickname hides Marc Armand, French graphic designer & a.d., working independently in Paris since 2008. Breastfed with 80s post-modernism, Italian post-punk comics, African  coupé-décalé and brody-styled type design, he built himself a bright and colorful world which could quite easily give you sunburn. Collecting collaborations in different cultural fields, he forges strong relationships with bands, labels and cultural venues. He goes about creating video clips, posters, drawings and installations, versatile mediums for this day-dreaming meddler, distilling retro-vibes into his highly concentrated modern pop-graphics.

JIRO BEVIS

A lot of people will like the work of Jiro Bevis, only a select few will really get it. But if you ever watched The Simpsons, wore cut-off denim, drooled over pizza, played dares well into your teens or smoked cigarettes during school hours, then you may qualify for the latter category. With an army of fans, extremely cool commissions coming from all over the place, and a website bursting with his crisp, obscene drawings, Jiro Bevis is arguably one of the coolest, most replicated illustrations of his generations.

HONET

In 1988, a young Parisian discovered graffiti. He was only 15 but he knew that from that moment nothing would ever be the same again. In the time it took other taggers to work out how to change the nozzle on their cans, Honet’s work became a reference in the Paris graf world. At the end of the 1990s, he decided to change direction and swapped his can of spray-paint for a brush. A second career began in which this time the walls covered were in galleries. His style, a cross between the gothic and modern baroque, has been strongly influenced by his travels and nourished by the abandoned places he visits.

MOTHI LIMBU

Born to a French mother and a Birman Nepalese father, Mothi Limbu - due to his background - is appealed by unlikely matches. He lives and works in Marseille, the city where opposites constantly collide with one another. An influencing melting pot which allowed him to stride across the world cultivating paradoxes, between orders and disorders and love for the absurd. With the freshness of the Wutang, the fineness inspired by an engraving of Dürer and the creative emergency of self-taught men, he favors the idea more than the media. Mothi is also the founder of the Happymess studio for which he puts his multidisciplinary talents at many clients’ disposal.
